Many classroom boss battles ask every student to join on a phone or a laptop. This one runs from the teacher's laptop on any screen the class can see: a TV, a projector or a smartboard. The damage comes from the points students already earn for real reasons.
Six of them, from a slime to a dragon. A bigger boss takes longer to bring down and pays the class more.
The reward goes to every student who dealt damage. Picking the boss is picking the reward: there is nothing else to set.
Pick a boss and how long the hunt runs: one day, three days, a week, two weeks, a month, two months, or no deadline.
Every point a student earns deals one damage, bonuses included. A “needs work” point heals the boss instead.
The boss stands on one side of the class screen and the class on the other, and each student's damage plays back as their own move. Tap a student there to give or take a point without leaving the fight.
Bring it down before the last day and everyone who dealt damage gets the reward. If the boss is still standing when time runs out, it escapes and nobody gets it.
Boss hunts sit next to four other whole-class modes, all powered by the same points: Squad Legends (squads that compete over days), Versus (two students, one question), Tournament (a live points race) and Race Track. Attendance, a random student picker, a group maker and timers live on the same board.
